The weather was wonderful, had relaxing stay on a Saturday for an overnight stay. The location met the needs, it was stunning to the local pub which was far better. Moreover, it was just off the Mere restaurant, and building.

Good sized and airy units with the heating, warm water beds, bedrooms, and the staff were very attentive. The location was beautiful, short walk to the serene lake, and the Poole, in a very relaxing area. I ate in the casual restaurant nearby.

We had a totally wonderful stay at this hotel. Set in a stunning location overlooking a large lake, we were able to spot all different kinds of wildlife while relaxing on the terrace with our welcome drinks. The service here was excellent, with the staff being friendly and helpful. The room amenities were fantastic, with a comfortable bed, a sitting area, and a flat-screen TV. We also enjoyed the delicious and fresh food in the dining area, and the swimming pool was amazing.

Not enough staff on duty and a few issues with basic housekeeping were a bit disappointing. However, we would still highly recommend this hotel to families.

Accommodation was reasonably large and good quality, beds were big. Booked a room with stunning views over the lake. The service was exceptional and the location was wonderful and excellent.

I found the decor of the place very relaxing, clean, light and airy. The spa was very inviting and I liked the various options on offer. The massage I had was really amazing. I felt incredibly relaxed afterwards. My daughter who is pregnant had a 'beautiful bump' treatment and was equally pleased with her experience. Our rooms were clean, nice decor and well equipped. The restaurant meals were really delicious and the staff very helpful and respectful. I don't know if we just chose a good time to come but none of the facilities felt crowded which contributed a lot to the feeling of relaxation during the whole stay.

We came under a special offer and didn't have enough time to do all that we wanted to. We found ourselves having to choose between eating and using the spa facilities. I think the time could be more flexible and allow people to stay on at the spa after they have checked out on the Sunday, maybe till 4pm at no extra charge or alternatively, to arrive from lunchtime on the Saturday even though they can't check in till 5pm.

Very comfy bed in the standard room, plus a personal safe, central heating and an iron. Big bathroom and a bath with good sewerage. Stunning and amazing location to top it all off when the desert came out in a really great area.
